Once upon a time I was standing in front of a mirror in an old hand me down dress that was way too big for me. I imagined I was a beautiful princess in a fairytale castle with a handsome prince who would fight dragons to save me and win my hand.

 

Many years have gone by since then and life has been both wonderful and difficult for me. Yet through it all I keep finding my true Hero, Jesus, repeatedly rescuing me from all enemies - especially myself!

 

While I don't live in a fairytale world, and my home more often resembles a zoo than a palace, I have found the greatest joys are the simple ones.

 

I am outrageously blessed with a loving and supportive family, a husband who adores me, and two beautiful children who are full of life. Most of all I have my Jesus who is my constant source of hope, peace, joy, love and life.
